Solar Array Optimiser

Adapting the array to partial shading.

Complete

A completed reconfigurable solar-array prototype that monitors voltage and current across six solar modules and changes their connections through a relay matrix under partial shading.

Sense
Module-level voltage and current.
Respond
Reconfigure connections through a relay matrix.
Inside the project

The engineering focus is coordinating electrical measurements with connection control. The six-module array brings sensing and relay-based reconfiguration together in one prototype.

Complete

A completed smart-insole system that captures plantar pressure and walking patterns for gait analysis.

Sense
Plantar pressure during walking.
Explore
Walking patterns through captured data.

An engineering project for gait analysis, not a medical diagnostic device.

Inside the project

The project connects wearable sensing with data capture for studying walking patterns. The focus is on the engineering of the smart-insole system and the information it captures.
